The King is 3.5 inch high and the pieces are made from sheesham and chidar, woods prized for their golden color and adaptability. The bishop has symmetrical lilting curves in two places towards the bottom, a pattern continued with the other pieces in the chess set. The board for this chess set should be 1.5 inch or 1.75 inch squares.
